Armillary is an astronomical application designed for precise measurement and recording of specific times, locations, and movements of celestial bodies such as the Sun and stars. It operates on a Ptolemaic model, allowing users to easily determine sunrise and sunset times, day length, sun altitude variations throughout the year, and celestial object positions.

This 3D Armillary app digitally recreates the ancient armillary sphere using contemporary technology. Originally believed to have been invented circa 200 B.C., the traditional instrument had a historical usage spanning over 2,000 years.
